Every build below ran in production. Client names are kept private; the engineering speaks for itself.

Fraud & Identity Checks

Signing a lease became a decision point rather than a formality. Four signals run at signature, and an application whose shipping address is nowhere near where it was applied for stops itself.

  • Proxy and VPN detection at the point of signature
  • Distance check between the application IP and the ship-to address
  • Blacklist service, replacing a narrower proxy-only lookup

Card Settlement Pipeline

Daily settlement files generated in the processor's own format, PGP-encrypted on the way out and decrypted on the way back, with reversals and same-day ACH handled on the same path.

  • Processor-format batch files, generated and reconciled daily
  • PGP encryption both directions, separate test and production keys
  • Reversals and same-day ACH on the same pipeline

Per-State Lease Pricing

Consumer lease terms are set by state law, and the platform had been treating them as near enough. Replaced with a calculator per state, so each one computes its own payment schedule, final payment and payoff quote.

  • One calculator per state, replacing shared approximations
  • Payment schedules, final-payment options and payoff quotes
  • Statutory wording corrected per state on the lease itself

Borrowing Base Reporting

The lender borrows against its own lease portfolio, and the facility only counts leases that qualify. Built the eligibility rules and the weekly file that reports them, which is the number the credit line is drawn against.

  • Eligibility by pledge date, first payment made and category
  • Per-state calculation rules folded into the same run
  • Weekly warehouse file, reconciled against the portfolio
